Bring us the SEND challenge.

We'll build the solution.

Rise is a SEND Solutions Group supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and the people and organisations around them. We work with schools, Multi-Academy Trusts, Local Authorities, care providers, training providers, employers and families to understand what is needed and put the right support in place.

You don’t need to know the solution.

Start with what’s happening. We’ll work out what needs to happen next.

"We’ve tried alternative provision, but it hasn’t worked."

“We can’t get this young person back into school.”

“We need to set up and staff our own onsite provision.”

“We need specialist advice around a child or our setting.”

“We need reliable, experienced support in our care service.”

“We know something needs to change, but we’re not sure what.”

You don’t have to come to us with the answer. Tell us what’s happening and we’ll start there.

Three clear ways into Rise, and if your situation doesn’t fit into one, talk to us.

Listen

We start by hearing what’s happening, what’s already been tried and what support is being asked for.

01

Review & adapt

We stay involved, check what’s working and adjust the support as needs or circumstances change.

05

Bring it together

We involve the right specialists, practitioners and partners, then coordinate the support around the plan.

04

We shape a practical solution around what is actually needed, rather than forcing a fixed package.

03

Design

Understand

02

We look at the needs, strengths, barriers and outcomes that matter for the child, setting or service.

Start with what’s happening.

We listen first, understand what support is needed, then build the right response around the child, setting or service.

Staffing may be part of the solution. It is not where we start.

Safeguarding at Rise

Rise is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff and associates to share this commitment.

Child-centred safeguarding

Safer recruitment & vetting

We listen to children and young people, take concerns seriously and recognise the additional vulnerabilities some children and young people with SEND may experience.

Appropriate identity, employment history, qualification, reference, right-to-work and Enhanced DBS checks are completed for roles where they are required.

Clear safeguarding practice

Working with others

Staff and associates are expected to understand their safeguarding responsibilities, work within professional boundaries and follow clear reporting and escalation procedures.

We work collaboratively with families, schools, Local Authorities and other professionals to help keep children and young people safe.

If you have a safeguarding concern about a child or young person involved with Rise, please contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead. If a child is in immediate danger, call 999.

Not sure where to start?

Whether you are a Local Authority, a headteacher, a parent or a care provider, we are here to listen. Tell us about the complex challenges you face and we will design a bespoke solution for you.
